Mr. Vlassis Tsansizis participated in the Annual Conference of the International Association of Maritime Economists (IAME), held in Bergen, Norway, and hosted by the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), from June 24th to 27th, 2025.

During the conference, he presented to esteemed academics and professionals from across the globe, his innovative research study, offering a novel analysis of the dynamic and predictive relationship between CBOT Wheat Future Contracts and the Baltic Dry Index (BDI), with particular emphasis on periods of global food crises. The study applied advanced time-series econometric modeling and market-based evidence to explore the complex interplay between commodity markets and maritime freight indices.
